Our Weekend Getaway

David is officially done with his first quarter at school..yay! He had a week off before summer quarter started so we headed down to stay with his family for a few days. On the way there we stopped in a small town called Leavenworth. It was the cutest little Bavarian town. Everything had a unique feel to it. It was an absolutely gorgeous day and it's located right in the mountains so the scenery is picture perfect. We had bratwurst & fresh lemonade for lunch then walked through a few fun shops. What a fun day. We headed to David's parents' house for the rest of the week. It was so much fun. We had 2 birthday parties, went bowling, walked along the beach, went to the farmers market, ate some yummy thai food and had a BBQ. All the guys went to a Mariners game and sat in the front row, right by the dugout. They all said it was awesome. They could hear the comments the players made to each other, they caught a ball and they said it was a totally different experience when you're right there in the action. How fun! The best thing David & I were able to do was go to the temple Sat morning and that was wonderful. What a great escape from the everyday.

Did David start his classes this week then?
