In a matter of 4 days we...

Moved into our new place.

Celebrated 2 family birthdays. It was Madi's first time bowling and she thought it was awesome.

Madi really adores her uncle "mimmy". When she asks about him now she says "missionary. jesus. make people happy." That about sums it up :)

Oh yeah and if it's possible I got bigger. Right now I'm just days away from my due date and my appointment is tomorrow. I'll post an update when I get home.

We spent our first night in our new place. Madi slept great in her new "big girl bed" and mommy and daddy slept great in our new king sized bed (pics to come). Yay!

She LOVES having her own room and so does mommy.

That wraps up the rest of August.

Lovin Summer!

I need to get all caught up before we move and before baby gets here! By the way I think this little girl has a name, but it's not 100% yet. So, I'll wait to share until we know for sure.

Since the last post a lot has happened.

I for one, got bigger (of course).

She's still growing and kicking and loving it in there. I'm getting to the point where I'm ready to have my body to myself again.

Let's back up though. I have some catch up to do.

ONELOVE Fremont 2010_0071
Madi and I made the flight to Cali to spend the week with my family. The flight went great. Madi got her own apple juice with a lid AND a straw and she thought it was fantastic.

ONELOVE Fremont 2010_0067
We spent lots of time with grandma, papa, uncle james, and aunt kayla. It was wonderful!

ONELOVE Fremont 2010_0024
That weekend, David joined us and we celebrated his 26th birthday!! A lasagna dedicated to him :)

I couldn't boogie board this year, but Kayla took my spot for me :)

Madi got to play with her buddy Wesley pretty much every day. They're so cute together.

We spent 16 hours in the most magical place on earth. DISNEYLAND!

3 of those hours were spent in Fairytale princess land. This girl's dreams all came true. I almost had a tear in my eye watching the joy on Madisyn's face. Wow! It was magical.

Here's her "rella" (cinderella) kisses to prove it!

ONELOVE Fremont 2010_0013
We sent daddy home to WA on the airplane and Madi and I drove back to northern california in the motor home, to spend a few more days with my family before flying home.

ONELOVE Fremont 2010_0003
This is one thing I won't forget about our trip. What you see is what you get when you get burnt and then 24 hours later you walk for 16 hours around disneyland on a hot day WHILE you're 34 wks pregnant.

ONELOVE Fremont 2010_0011DSC_1000
Not so fun! Glad to say, my feet are back to normal and all that's left is a tan.

That about wraps up that trip.

In more recent news....

Madi got her first tattoo. She got it from the doctor. It makes her "feel better". haha

This week has been in the 90s and I think I'm going to melt.

Love this girl!

I think that about sums it up!

Oh and I shot my first wedding last saturday! It was wonderful. Check it out.

Now, the count downs really start.

1 week: move into our own place.
2 weeks: send david's youngest brother off to Mexico for a 2 year mission.
4 weeks: welcome a new little princess into our family

A little too much excitement all at once, but we'll enjoy every minute of it!

Bare Belly

Baby#2_31wks_0019 eBabyG#2_31wks_0002 e
(No I didn't photoshop this in any way. That's really my belly.)

I figured now's a good a time as any to take some belly pictures showing a little skin. I'm 31 weeks along and it's just about that time that I'm REALLY showing and there's no sign of stretch marks (yet).

I don't know how good I'll be at posting in the next couple of weeks. I am leaving for girls camp tomorrow, but I'll be back the next day. Which gives me just enough time to do laundry and get everything packed for our 2 week California trip. Monday will be taken over by doctor's appointments for Madi and 1 (baby check up for me, and a follow up appointment to check that Madi's all healed up.)

I just realized that I never mentioned on my blog that Madi ended up having a pretty nasty ear infection, along with a perforated ear drum to top it all off. Poor girl! She's doing much better now. She sleeps through the night and smiles during the day. YAY!

Anyways, after the doc appointments we'll eat lunch, Madi will take a nap, and I'll scramble to get everything together for our trip the next morning. Very early morning!

I get to spend a week with my parents and then it's off to So Cal for the annual Greenwood Family Beach Trip. David will join us for that week. Can't wait to soak up some sun!

So, if you're wondering why I'm MIA for a few weeks, don't worry. My big belly and I can be found on the beaches of California.

To add to the business of it all, a week or so after we get back, David Madi and I are moving into our own place! That gives me a few weeks to get everything set up and ready. Then, our little princess #2 will be here.

Wow.

Wish me luck!

Baby#2_31wks_0016 e

Next time I post, I'll probably be swollen and HUGE. So, just remember me when I was cute and prego like this ok?

Thanks!

Two Thirds Done

That's right....

As of last week, I am officially in my third trimester. I know I say this every time I post about the pregnancy, but it's more true every time! Where has the time gone? I am going to be a mommy of 2 in just a little over 10 weeks. That's really no time at all. I'll have 2 princesses to adore instead of 1.

WOW.

David had been going out of town mon- fri and coming home on the weekends for the past 2 weeks. So, I haven't had him to be my "monthly bump photographer". I still don't want to miss out on the chance to document my ever increasing "greatness" as I like to call it. I guess these mirror photos will have to do for now, until I remember to have him take a decent picture of me. You get the idea. It's pretty straight forward.

I'm getting bigger. There you have it :)

July10_0066 b&w web

I'm actually 29 weeks as we speak, but I took this 2 weeks ago.

Updates: (disclaimer...these are just things I should be writing in my journal. I have yet to do that and I don't want to forget. So, I'll share them with you.)

- I am experiencing the lovely joys of heartburn quite frequently. TUMS just don't do it for me. I did find that eating some of an apple, or drinking apple juice after a meal (usually dinner time) cuts down on the intensity quite a bit. The same thing happened when I was prego with Madi, but somehow I forgot that it was coming.

- I took my glucose test (you know the one where you drink that wonderful thick sugar drink and then wait an hour to get your blood drawn) on friday and the results were great!

- Usually after my appointments, I go the the front desk to schedule the next month's appointment, but this time I scheduled an appointment every 2 weeks for the next 2 months. After that, it's every week. Seriously? It's already that close? Where have I been?

- Oh and last time I mentioned all my sugar cravings. Well, I'm happy to announce they are officially a thing of the past. It must have been a 2nd trimester thing. I can walk by cookies or ice cream without totally dying to have some. It's a good feeling to want fresh food again :)

Just a few thoughts to wrap this up:

When I was at my 29 wk check up on friday, my midwife asked if baby was moving alright, to which I responded with a big huge "YES". This girl is a mover and I love every minute of it. Anyways, I lifted up my shirt so she could measure my belly and listed to my girl's heart beat. Just as she was about to put her heartbeat machine on my belly, baby did an acrobatic move that caused a ripple affect across my belly. The midwife's eyes got huge and she said "that was incredible!" She said that despite all the bellies she sees on a daily basis, that is a rarity. She gave me the award for "the most perfect check up of the day".

Honestly I tend to take hearing those words for granted because with both of my girls so far, I've never has anything less than a perfect pregnancy, if that even exists. I get pregnant the week or 2 after we decide it's time. I don't get sick. Every check up is "perfect". I can't count how many times I've heard that. Growth is always spot on to the day. Movement is crazy (which is a wonderful thing). All tests come out completely normal. Honestly, I dread the day that I hear anything else. I really need to step back and count my blessings. Creating a person is not something that comes easily to a whole lot of people. There are a million different complications that can occur throughout and I am so grateful that I haven't had to experience any of them so far. Who knows, maybe it won't always be like this for me, but for now, I thank my Heavenly Father for blessing me with the health and strength to be a fully functional mommy of 2 (soon!!!).

Words can not express how excited I am to hold one of these little peanuts again :)

Week 22

It's official!

I'm more than 1/2 way through this pregnancy. This little bundle of joy is moving like crazy and I'm lovin every minute of it.

I forgot how it feels to have your organs kicked though. It's an interesting feeling. I wouldn't trade it for anything.

David felt the baby kick for the first time last friday night (May 7th for my records). We were lying in bed and I told him "there's no way you can't feel this". He put his hand on my tummy and baby let him know she is there :)

One more thing that's pretty much so I don't forget....
These past few weeks have been full of cravings for sugar! That's really odd for me. I usually crave salty chips or crackers. Things like that. Even when I'm not pregnant I'd go for some yummy chips over a cookie any day. That isn't the case right now. I've been right on target with my weight gain this time. If something doesn't change, I'm in trouble! It's all my choice I know. Wish me luck.

On a happier note, I have an ultrasound next Saturday to verify that we are having a girl. I will be shocked if we see boy parts, but either way it'll be great to know for sure :)

Oh one more thing. I'm going to be an aunt today!!!!!! My sister is getting ready to push right now! I couldn't be more excited. I didn't sleep last night. My little sister is going to be a mommy to a baby girl. I just can't contain myself!
